Kate is currently casting InterAct Story Theatre’s 2024-2025 Season Auditions and just finished casting Prayer for the French Republic at Theatre J.

She is also the resident casting director at Solas Nua, where their most recent production, The Honey Trap, was highlighted by DCTA as one of the best productions of the year, recieved 3 Helen Hayes awards (best lighting, best lead actor and best supporting actor) and 10 Helen Hayes nominations. Additionally, she works with Studio Theatre as an artistic/casting assistant and is the resident casting director at InterAct Story Theatre.

She also works with Prologue Theatre, the recipent of 2023 John Aniello Award for Outstanding Emerging Theatre Company, as an artistic associate, where she cast their most recent production, Marjorie Prime and coordinated their New Works Series.

She is also currently planning the third year of the D.C. Young Professionals Open Call, an open call for recent college graduates in D.C. to connect with D.C. theatre companies. For more info on the open call, please see her “casting” page.
